Corporate Casting
Corporate Casting is a role-play consultancy working to support independent and in-house trainers.
Drawing from a pool of experienced role-play actors, we select the most suitable actors to fit specific profiles within a given training model. We then rehearse the actors, in close consultation with your Training or HR personnel, to ensure your company's policies and terminology are incorporated into any scenario to be enacted. Our actors are thereby fully briefed to play out key situations you wish your staff to observe and learn from.
Corporate Casting work closely with companies and trainers to choose the training model which is most appropriate to the company's requirements. This might be a series of one-to-one improvisations, where an actor will work face-to-face with individual members of staff. Or it might include a group scenario, such as Forum Theatre, where delegates are able to stop the action and choose how the scenario will proceed; in this way they observe the effects of their choices. In each case paticipants are encouraged to take responsibilty for how their particular scenario will develop.
We believe that learning stems from the experience of participation and from the reflection and discussion which develops from it. The actors' detailed emotional feedback enhances this process.
Delegates are provided with a safe and constructively critical environment in which to test their newly acquired skills.
Corporate Casting has worked with the BBC, BT, Anglia Railways, Great Western Railways, Southwark Social Services, the Environment Agency and Harbourside Arts Centre.
